Publication platform of the Max Weber Foundation – perspectivia.net
perspectivia.net is the online publication platform of the Max Weber Foundation. As an international portal covering several epochs, perspectivia.net makes selected scholarly findings from the fields of humanities, social sciences and cultural studies available in barrier-free fashion, thereby furthering the development and intensification of scholarly communication. The excellent research performance of the foreign institutes, their partner organisations and cooperating scholars from Germany and abroad are to be offered the greatest possible visibility in line with the principle of open access.
perspectivia.net offers both genuinely electronic publications and retrospectively digitized printed publications. A continuously increasing number of journals, reviews, guidelines for scholars abroad, monographs and conference documentation can be searched in full-text mode and retrieved using cataloguing entries. The offer is complemented by databases or source editions for which a comprehensive portal is provided.
The Bayerische Staatsbibliothek in Munich supports perspectivia.net as a close cooperation partner, contributing its experience in the field of digital publishing, retro-digitization, long-time archiving and of subject indexing and cataloguing online publications by means of library catalogues and other search tools.
