The Bayerische Staatsbibliothek supports scholars in the field of classical studies by a comprehensive range of search services for studies, teaching and research. Our search portals enable you to access monographs, articles, image data, publications in the open access format and much more. The services are provided within the scope of the "Specialised Information Service for Classical Studies" (Fachinformationsdienst, FID), which is run by the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek in cooperation with the University Library Heidelberg, via the specialised portal "Propylaeum".

- Specialised portal "Propylaeum"
- Search services (i.e. PropylaeumSEARCH, Gnomon Bibliographische Datenbank and recensio.antiquitatis)
- Overview of further services and information supplied by Propylaeum (i.a. FID licenses, digital book request service, thematic portals and e-learning, research data)
Target groups: Students, teachers and researchers from all disciplines in the field of classical studies (primarily Egyptology, ancient history, ancient orient, Byzantine studies, classical archaeology, classical philology, medieval and new Latin philology and prehistory and early history) and all users interested in Propylaeum
