The author and artist Reiner Zimnik climbing out of his Isetta.
Microcars such as the BMW Isetta let the dream of one’s own car come true for broad sections of the population in the 1950s. The Isetta was produced from 1955 to 1962. The graphic artist and writer Reiner Zimnik (born in 1930) received the Literary Award of the City of Munich in 1958.
