"Das doppelte Lottchen" at the cinema at the Sendlinger Tor
The screenplay for "Two times Lotte" by the Munich writer Erich Kästner had already been written during the war, but could not be implemented, since Kästner was prohibited from working. Shot with twin sisters from Munich in the leading roles, the film finally came to the cinemas with great success in 1950 and received the first German Film Awards.
