Via subito copies of journal articles or from books can be ordered for delivery to the address stated by the user. This service is based on the collections of the libraries taking part in subito, which can be searched online in the subito catalogues. From the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek alone, you can order copies from around 54,000 journals and 10 million books.
subito's service is available to anyone upon free registration on the subito website.

Free-of-charge provision of tables of contents

In case you do not have any exact literature specifications or do not know the exact page numbers, we currently offer an additional service. We send you the table of contents of the required volume by e-mail free of charge within a few days. With the aid of the table of contents, you can subsequently place a qualified copy order via interlibrary loan or subito. For this purpose, please fill in the form.

Books and copies can be ordered via interlibrary loan. Collection on site is possible during the regular opening hours of the local loan service (Ortsleihe; media issue for home loan). For delivery, the free-of-charge book delivery to your address can also be used. Media for circulation in the reading rooms only can be used in the reading room in question following reservation of a working place.

OPACplus  (union catalogue/ interlibrary loan)

The digitization and photographic reproductions service of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek produces individual copies or scans or complete digital copies of manuscripts, old, rare printed works and newspapers within the framework of the document delivery service "Altes Buch" on demand and against a fee. The major part of the holdings, also special materials such as maps, personal papers, printed sheet music, etc. is available using this service. Reproductions can be made of copyright-free works only.

Reproduction orders can be generated with the aid of the electronic reproduction order tool ERaTo.

ERaTo

"eBooks on Demand" is a document delivery service at a charge, allowing our users to order complete electronic copies of copyright-free books from the period between 1501 to around 1900. Digitization orders for "eBooks on Demand" can be placed in the OPACplus/ BSB catalogue when the button "Copy via EOD (€)" is displayed.
