The Bayerische Staatsbibliothek offers a broad spectrum of courses (in German) with the aim of introducing and explaining the research options in the catalogues and the access options of databases, electronic journals, e-books and external library catalogues. Besides the general introductory courses to using the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek there are also special courses for using electronic media and courses on special subject fields and topics. For the exact dates and topics please consult the schedule of courses. No registration is required for individuals.
In case you cannot come to the library, simply take part online in the webinars of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek.
In addition, the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek also provides a number of e-tutorials for self-study.
Courses or guided tours for groups can be offered only upon prior enquiry in writing. Introductory tours by third parties, e.g. teachers, tutors and lecturers, are not permitted.
As a special service we offer an introductory course specifically for deaf users with the support of a sign-language interpreter at irregular intervals.
