Tajikistan

The Tajik collection encompasses works from Tajikistan, works about Tajikistan and also such in the Tajik language. Its size can be merely estimated, since the volumes are not marked specially in the catalogue. Currently, the collection comprises around 1,300 volumes and around 50 current or discontinued periodicals. A large portion of the periodicals go back to the Soviet period, but there are also newer periodicals in printed form and even a number of electronic ones.
