With the programme "Oxford Research Encyclopedias", the publishing house Oxford University Press is developing dynamic online encyclopedias for over 20 disciplines. The "Oxford Research Encyclopedias" contain peer-reviewed overview articles on a great variety of topics.

The following encyclopedias have been made accessible within the scope of the test phase:

These "Oxford Research Encyclopedias" have already been licensed for the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek:

Oxford Handbooks

The "Oxford Handbooks" are written by renowned scholars, each of which introducing a sub-discipline of a subject field.

The test phase offers access to the following subject-related modules having over 400 handbooks:

• Linguistics
• Literature
• Business & Management
• Music
• Physical Sciences

These "Oxford Handbooks" published in recent years for the following subject areas are already available via the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek:

Access is available to registered users of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek via the Database Information System:
