Newly available via the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek – also with access from home: utb-studi-e-book

More than 2,300 German-language textbooks and study literature of the platform utb-studi-e-book can be used electronically via the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek as of now. Access is provided for registered users of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, also in the form of remote access from home.

The utb is a working group of 16 publishing houses with different fields of thematic emphasis who have joined forces for a common textbook program:

The multi-faceted programme covers humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and economic science and comprises German-language textbooks and study literature from 30 fields of specialisation.

The contents are available chapter-wise for printing out or downloading.
Moreover, it is possible to register in order to set up a personal user account, enabling additional functions such as bookmarks and notes.


Access is available to registered users of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek via the Database Information System.
The e-books have also been entered in the OPACplus/ BSB catalogue.
