For your targeted literature selection in the OPACplus: Tables of contents and more

Around 1.2 million tables of contents, registers, blurbs, abstracts and more permit checking the content of scholarly book publications during your research in the OPACplus/ BSB catalogue already before ordering, and thus permit ordering the desired titles in a more targeted manner.

The tables of contents etc. are made available for newer publications and primarily for the fields of specialisation that form a collection emphasis of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek within the scope of the Specialised Information Services for Classical Studies, Historical Studies, Musicology and Russian, East and Southeast European Studies. Complementarily, tables of content are provided also for most of the newer Italian and French books.

What is new is that the links to the tables of contents etc. have been placed in a more prominent position in the OPACplus/ BSB catalogue and in the search portals of the Specialised Information Services and can now be found, where available, both in the hit list and in the detailed view of individual titles directly with the title data.
