One noteworthy feature of the collection is constituted by autographs, unique copies and works of the Munich composer Georg Augustin Holler (1744 – 1814), with whom Peter Huber was presumably personally acquainted.

In yesterday's paper on "The sheet music collection of Müllner Peter from Sachrang", Dr. Steffen Voss, Department of Music of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, gave an interesting insight into the musical practices of a Bavarian mountain village in the early 19th century. The musical framework of the event was provided by the vocal ensemble "Hört, Hört!" with a number of pieces of the recently digitized sheet-music collection.

On the occasion of the 175th anniversary of the death of Müllner Peter and the digitization of the sheet-music collection initiated by bavarikon, the international symposium "Dorf – Musik –Leben" (Village – music – life) takes place in Sachrang on Saturday, 30 June 2018.
