Middle-East Conflict

The decades-old Middle-East conflict has reached a new high point with the terrorist attack of Hamas against Israel on 7 October 2023 and the subsequent ground offensive of Israel in the Gaza Strip. Even people with comprehensive prior knowledge are finding it hard to fathom the complexity of the conflict. This is rendered more difficult by numerous one-sided or inappropriately condensed representations and deliberately false reports. However, in-depth comprehension absolutely requires reliable information sources.

The Bayerische Staatsbibliothek has collected media on the Middle-East conflict for a long time and offers a large variety of research literature, databases and current periodicals and newspapers.
Here, you can find search access points and links to selected sources which are available online.
