Description of project
The Bayerische Staatsbibliothek Online (BLO) offers a plethora of information about Bavaria from the fields of history and cultural studies: bibliographies, fundamental secondary literature, sources such as manuscripts, maps, views of places, portraits, historical newspapers, scholarly journals or the sessions of the Bavarian State Parliament (Landtag). The BLO also offers genuinely digital sources, such as the "Historisches Lexikon Bayerns" (historical encyclopaedia of Bavaria) or the "Literaturportal Bayern" (literature portal Bavaria). The individual modules can be searched one at a time, but partly also comprehensively with the help of central search access points (locations database, persons). The available resources are continuously expanded.
