Document database of classical philology and archaeology, prehistory and early history, antique history and Egyptology
The database "OLC-SSG Altertum" (OLC-SSG Classics - Online Contents-Special Subject Collection) catalogues tables of contents of journals from the field of classical studies, in particular classical philology and archaeology, prehistory and early history, antique history and Egyptology.

It is a subject-oriented extract of the Swets database Online Contents, which is continuously complemented by selected journal articles of the University Library of Heidelberg as library responsible for the special collection field of classical archaeology and Egyptology, and of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek as library responsible for the special collection field of prehistory and early history as well as classical studies including antique history, medieval and new Latin.
Currently approximately 165 journals are evaluated - as a rule starting from the year of publication 1993. The database, which is updated daily, thus currently contains about 72,070 articles and reviews (August 2006).

The Database "OLC-SSG Klassische Philologie" (OLC-SSG Greek and Latin Philology - Online Contents - Special Subject Collections) catalogues tables of contents of journals from the field of classical philology including Medieval and Renaissance Latin.

It is a subject-oriented extract of the Swets database Online Contents, which is continuously complemented by selected journal articles of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek as library responsible for the special collection field of classical studies including antique history, medieval and new Latin.

Currently approximately 30 journals are evaluated - as a rule starting from the year of publication 1993. The database, which is updated daily, thus currently contains about 18,274 articles and reviews (August 2006).
