The Department of Eastern Europe has been offering a free-of-charge information service in the form of a newsletter since January 2002. Issued at irregular intervals, the newsletter contains the library's news regarding Eastern Europe, such as e. g. electronic media (databases and electronic journals), important new publications, accessibility of east European library and archive collections, exhibitions and lectures, etc.
