The manuscript collection in European languages (
English, French, Spanish, Italian as well as Danish, Swedish, Estonian, Hungarian and Slavic languages) is searchable in a printed catalogue. However, this catalogue comprises only the collections up to the year of acquisition 1858. Newer catalogues exist for a part of the manuscripts in Slavic languages and for the manuscripts in the Catalan language. New acquisitions after 1858 - also encompassing manuscripts in the Norwegian, Icelandic, Rhaeto-Romanic and Romanian languages - are catalogued in the handwritten 
repertory.
