Catalogues: The Collections are catalogued and indexed primarily in printed catalogues or handwritten inventories. In addition, databases have been set up in recent years, in which parts of the collections of manuscripts and modern papers are catalogued and indexed and made searchable online. The  Research Documentation for manuscripts which were so far only catalogued in inventories facilitates the scholarly reception of the materials.

Consultation of manuscripts and modern papers: they can only be ordered and used in the  Reading Room for Manuscripts and Early Printed Books. Special Reader Passes are also available there.
