In this part of the collections such printed books were grouped which contain numerous handwritten comments by widely known persons of the 16th to the 20th century. One focal point of the collection is the 16th century. Some noteworthy authors are for example: Johannes Aventinus, Franz Xaxer v. Baader, Albrecht Duerer (4 L.impr.c.n.mss. 119), Johannes Eck, Ulrich v. Hutten, Henrik Ibsen, Jakob Locher, Karl Meichelbeck, Andreas Felix v. Oefele, Conrad Peutinger, Hartmann Schedel, Johann Andreas Schmeller and Petrus Victorius.
