Take the S8 or S1 train to central station (approx. 45 minutes; fare: 8.50 €).

From Central Station to the Hotels
The four recommended hotels are located near the Goethe-Forum and in the city centre respectively.

Take the tram number 20 or 21 (direction Moosach or Westfriedhof) leaving from a platform opposite the main entrance of central station. Exit the tram at stop “Sandstrasse”. From here follow the “Dachauer Strasse” for about 80 m. You reach the Hotel Europa on the left. 
Directions to Goethe-Forum:  street-map (approx. 1,6 km)
Take the tram number 20 or 21 (direction Moosach or Westfriedhof) from stop “Sandstrasse”. Exit the tram at stop “Goethe-Institut”.

  

Best Western Apart Hotel

Take Tram 20 or 21 (direction Moosach or Westfriedhof) leaving from a platform opposite the main entrance of central station. Exit the tram at stop “Leonrodplatz”. From here follow the “Dachauer Strasse” for about 50 m. You reach the Best Western Apart Hotel on the left.

Mercure Hotel Munich Olympiapark

Take Tram 20 or 21 (direction Moosach or Westfriedhof) leaving from a platform opposite the main entrance of central station. Exit the tram at stop “Leonrodplatz”. From here follow the “Leonrodstrasse” for about 100 m. You reach the Mercure Hotel Munich Olympiapark on the right.

The Hotel President is located in the city centre at a walking distance from Central Station.
Directions to Goethe-Forum:  street-map (approx. 3,6 km)
Take tram 20 or 21 (direction Moosach or Westfriedhof) from stop “Central Station” . Exit the tram at stop “Goethe-Institut”. The Goethe-Forum is situated about 50 m in the opposite direction of the tram on the left.

From the airport:
Take the S8 or S1 train to Marienplatz, change to Underground Line U3 (direction Olympia Einkaufszentrum) or U6 (direction Garching-Forschungszentrum). Exit the Underground at stop “Universitaet”. 

From central station:
Take Underground Line U4 (direction Arabellapark) or U5 (direction Neuperlach Sued). Exit the Underground at stop “Odeonsplatz”. Follow the Ludwigstrasse for about 500 m. You reach the Bavarian State Library on the right.
