The Bibliotheksverbund Bayern (BVB - Bavarian Library Network) is the regional network of Bavarian libraries comprising more than 150 libraries of different sizes and subject orientations. Among others, the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, the libraries of the universities and colleges as well as the regional state libraries are members of this network.
The Head Office of the Bavarian Library Network, a Department of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, is the regional IT competence centre for all libraries networked in the BVB.
