The collection of covers encompasses about 3,500 works of historical cover art from the 16th to the 19th century. The collection focuses on the master covers of Renaissance (Corvinus, Grolier, Mahieu, Fugger master covers) as well as on the Italian, French and German covers of the 17th and 18th century.
