In the Periodicals Reading Room the latest issues of 18,500 scholarly and scientific periodicals of all subject areas are freely accessible.

 

The collection is shelved systematically, divided into 999 main categories. The overview of the most important subjects and system locations is also available as a leaflet.

 

The detailed classification system can be consulted at the information service in the periodicals reading room.

 

Furthermore, 51 foreign, 4 supra-regional and 9 regional Bavarian daily newspapers are available.

The collections of the Periodicals Reading Room (Hbzs) may be used exclusively in the reading room.
