The Bayerische Landesbibliothek Online (BLO - Bavarian Regional Library Online) offers a plethora of historical and cultural information on Bavaria: bibliographies, fundamental secondary literature, sources such as manuscripts, maps, views of locations, portraits, historical newspapers or the negotiations of the Bavarian Landtag (Parliament of the Free State of Bavaria). The individual modules can be searched one at a time, but also comprehensively with the help of keywords (locations, persons). The available sources are continuously extended.

Bavarian Regional Library Online is a cooperation project of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek and five further Bavarian libraries, which takes place under the auspices of the BSB. Bayerische Landesbibliothek Online furthermore cooperates with numerous partners from the fields of science and public administration. The project is supported by the  Bayerisches Staatsministerium fuer Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst (Bavarian State Ministry of Sciences, Research and the Arts).
